Crossover CRU @ CHUBrugmann

Planned in 1906 as a pavilion structure in a park of 24 ha, CHU Brugmann (CHU= Centre Hospitalier Universitaire or UH) has a long tradition of excellence in clinical care and research that continues to expand today.

Brugmann is a Healthcare Institution with 3 hospitals in the north and north-east of Brussels.

CHU Brugmann is a tertiary hospital with 850+ beds. It is one of the largest healthcare institutions in Belgium located in Brussels at a crossroad of communication networks by road, rail and air. It is also a teaching hospital for medical students, for postgraduates training in most medical specialties, for nurses (with a nursing school), psychologists and many other paramedical specialties. It has a large outpatient activity. It is ideally suited for translational investigations. It spans primary, secondary and tertiary care serving a population of 300,000.

Key productivity figures are presented in Table 1.
