Corporate philosophy
In the 21st century, the healthcare system is truly in charge of “adding years to life” in the human species, whereas it is up to individuals to “add life to those years”. This progress is very much dependent on the constant discovery and development of new prophylactic, diagnostic and therapeutic means. These discoveries must then be taken up in health management schemes, where financing is granted under the principles of evidence-based medicine. The evidence comes from clinical trials.
